Teen On Their Own?

Maybe this is old news but I just downloaded a sim from the gallery to start a new game and it turns out, she's a teen in highschool. So now I'm playing a single teen with their own house. Can you create a teen in CAS and start a household??

Teens could always live alone.  I've had a teen head of household with three child siblings for quite a long time.
