Teen sim can’t do homework

I have had this problem in the past. In my game, it appeared that my teen left his notebook somewhere when traveling and had picked up another teen's book. Because it was not his book, he was not able to complete homework with it. What I was able to do was buy a new high school homework book through the bookshelf and everything worked fine. I just deleted the other book. I hope this helps you.

Could you have a mod or CC that’s conflicting? I don’t use CC or mods, but if you do that is a possibility. Also, have you tried repairing your game?

If you do have mods/cc, take your folder out and see if the Teen can do their homework. Then you'll have to slowly return the items to the Mods folder a little at a time until you discover just what is causing the problem. Best of luck.
