Guess I DO NOT "need" what you just suggested to have fun playing teens in Sims 4. But then, I also love the simple gameplay Sims 4 offers. If I want more challenge, my go-to game for that is Story of Seasons trio of towns, and that is doing more mundane tasks than Sims 4 offers.
“Sims 4 is fine because when it’s not I just play something else.” Funny, to me that actually describes the problem, not the solution.
