Teens are boring
Like my title says, teens are all same-y, you can't make a delinquent or one that wants to start a band because there's no features that allow teens to do that. It's like they have no identity outside...

Except there's nothing to imagine, other than only daydream that teens are driving_cars/pulling_pranks/riding-a-skateboard/attend-afterschool-activities/graduate/etc. Equivalent to watching pay dry at a wall and pretending your playing TS4 and having fun. Guess I DO NOT "need" what you just suggested to have fun playing teens in Sims 4. But then, I also love the simple gameplay Sims 4 offers. If I want more challenge, my go-to game for that is Story of Seasons trio of towns, and that is doing more mundane tasks than Sims 4 offers.
“Sims 4 is fine because when it’s not I just play something else.” Funny, to me that actually describes the problem, not the solution.
