I was editing a townie household in CAS and I deleted one of the Sims and went back to the game. When I started to play the remaining Sim, I realised the Sim was a teen. Plays fine.

I did have testingsheats true and cas.fulleditmode on set, so don't know whether it would work without them, but adds another little addition to what we can do fairly easily.
