Teens in Same Outfit?

I just installed the new High School EP and am confused...All of the teens, aside from the one I'm playing, have on the same blue shirt? It's not the one my teen is wearing- looks like a Greek Uni shirt almost. I did place a different lot that looked better than the one that came in-game, but don't see any "Set uniform" button or selection. Is this a glitch? Shouldn't the teens have a range of individuality?

  • Teens attend school in their club outfits two days a week. Chess, computer, football, cheerleading.

There's some slight oddness to this, as teens sometimes wear an outfit inconsistent with the afterschool activity they belong to. I have yet to test it, but I think they may stick with the activity uniform of the club they initially join, if they decide to change activities at some point. (Speaking of the behavior of unplayed sims only.)

Also, never enter CAS when your teen is wearing their activity uniform, as the game will overwrite the outfit in whichever outfit slot they currently have active with the club uniform, and you'll have to recreate it.

If a teen is famous enough, and has a particular fame perk, other students can also choose to copy their wardrobe autonomously. This can sometimes have very funny results, for instance if you have a quirky sim who likes to come to school in bunny slippers.

Oh that's cool, do you need a specific fame perk for that or does it solely depend on fame level?

It's the Trailblazer one. A sim has to be fame rank 4 to take it, so with normal aging on it's not too likely that most high school students will have that, unless they're an immortal teen werewolf or filching from a parent's stash of Age-away serum or rejuvenation potions. (Naturally none of my teenaged sims have EVER done such a thing.. heh.)
