Testing a hypothesis with the shopping cart icon

Setting aside for the moment the debate as to whether the shopping cart icon should even be within the in-game menu, I would like to test to see if what is being suggested to me is the same as what is being suggested to others. Yes, this is mainly to satisfy my own curiosity. What I am looking for is to see if what is being suggested reflects the play style of the individual game session.

Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack (I have no idea if I would use this. I haven't really focused on cooking yet)
For Rent (This one I am tempted by)
Werewolves (This is on my to buy list)

How do their suggestions rank up for you?

Before I uninstalled the game, I found it suggested the only packs I don't own. So it was suggesting the Batuu pack, For Rent pack, and the new stuff pack for making jewelry. I have no interest ever purchasing in the Disney advertisement pack or the new stuff pack. The the only EP I don't own needed to be 50% or more off for me to even consider it. Basically, it only pushed content that was detected to be missing. I predict it will suggest the newest content first and then any ones it detects are missing. I doubt it will suggest any kits as I am missing most of those.

  • @OliverWilken I like all 3 packs. I highly recommend Werewolves out of the 3. You can lose yourself in the lore of Moonwood Mill. They are also packs that have had largely positive reviews from independent sources. Although For Rent still has it's issues to work out, the world of Tomarang is lovely as is the content and theme. Home Chef Hustle is in my game mostly for the content as the kitchens are great.

They're all very different though so appear quite random recommendations. But when recommending packs, Werewolves is always top of my list so the much maligned trolley and I agree on that despite me not being it's biggest fan.

  • @OliverWilken  I own all expansions and everything released in 2019 and later.  I don't own the earlier GPs and SPs other than what I get through EA Play Pro.

Out of curiosity, I clicked the shopping cart icon, and it said:

    You've seen it all!

Check back again soon! In the meantime, be sure to visit the Main Menu for more Pack and Kit details!

This is correct.  I am not interested in any other packs.

I own everything and don't have the shopping cart in my game..... (but there are people who also own everything and do have the cart)
