That Awful Screeching Sound of When Somebody Steps On the Cat …

… that's what my  (Rock Star) Global Superstar's eldest son sounds like when he attempts to sing. The Teen decided to use the Karaoke machine while his parents were out on a date for Love Day. Oi! It got worse when he chose to practice singing. He almost sounds as if he's giving birth to a cow.  Yeah, it's that bad. Guess the ability to sing isn't an inherited talent. :open_mouth: Or, it skipped him. Hm. I had best figure out what, if any, gifts this Sim has. I hardly think, unless he improves markedly, he'll be following in his father's footsteps.

Oh, that high note! Seems Erik's youngest son, Paul, isn't much better than his eldest brother. Oi! Either Andrew has it all, or the three girls? One of his kids has got to be able to carry a tune, with or without a bucket. LOL

oh dear the apple fell far from the tree with two of his children! Hopefully one of the girls can carry a tune or you could have Melodie and Harmony duetting? :)

I restarted my Westbrook family, and my founder, Emilia, is in university. Her roommates all gather around in the living room screeching on their violins. What's worse is that it seems many sims who aren't roommates have decided to come into the dorms and join in on the screeching.

LOL I do have to say with practice, Jamison is getting better … so maybe there is some hope. I have played Erik since he was a Child Sim and it's easy to forget he began singing as a Child. (Whenever I've had to restart him, since that original save got corrupted, I've cheated his skills back up, so it wasn't such a stark restart so much as a resuming of game play.)
