I'm looking forward to the event, and the in-game items that it will be giving
I still have the CDs for The Sims, Living Large, House Party, and Hot Date. Even though I missed Sims 2 and Sims 3. Its fantastic that the entire history of the franchise is being celebrated.
What is your favorite memory about the Sims, throughout its 25 years?
Oliver, I still have all the CDs from the first three The Sims versions, as well as the ones released for the Nintendo Game Cube (The Sims Online, The Sims Bustin' Out, The Urbz: Sims in the City). I've also always been a completionist in terms of extended content for each of the versions. I really enjoy being able to use content from all the EPs, GPs, SPs, Kits, et al, for all my builds and Sims I create. (I even use some of the Baatu items for my Strangerville builds. lol)
It is great that you still have the cds from those cds from those packs 🙂 Simming has been enjoyable for so many simmers from around the world over these last 25 years. We have laughed with our sims households, been sad with them, and have looked forward to seeing what would happen next in their simming day and lives. It has also been a great way for simmers to enjoy using their creativity to create builds or enjoy spending time in CAS creating sims and outfits. We also look forward to the simming years ahead 🙂
I have so many sims memories when I really start to think about it that it gets hard to choose my favourite, but I thought these two at first: the big vegetables from Unleashed (and how I had to protect them from the wild rabbits!!), and the magic crystals and all the spells from Makin' Magic! 😍

My dearest memory is from The Sims 2 where I created several families in Veronaville. I had played rotationally before, but now I could also play generationally and the stories of the families intertwined together. I loved seeing how the children grew up and started their own lives. I still play my game like this.
My best memories are from the sims 2 area. I was a young adult with loads of time to play and even create a little CC. I absolutely loved who every EP brought something supernatural to the game. I liked creating restaurants and home businesses.
It was a great time without having to constantly update mods because of patches and no horrible timed events. Just playing my own game when it suits my time.
My favorite memory is from the first time I played Ts3 on pc. On my sims very first night a burglar broke in and stole her tv. She was sleeping and at the time I didn't know actions could be cancelled. So I waited for her to wake up, long after the burglar has left to call the police. When they showed up, they didn't do anything in regards to the robbery and I ended up getting fined for wasting their time 💀 I learned to buy an alarm after that 😂
It is lovely seeing the different generations of the families, and the interactions between the different generations, such as grandchildren and grandparents, and siblings 🙂 It is very nice seeing children growing up and where their lives lead as adults.
It would have given you a surprise when the burglar broke in and stole the tv! And not good that she kept sleeping and you didn’t know that you could have woken her up to report what had happened. It was wise to buy an alarm for if and when it happened again! 🙂
I dont"rnmember much of the original sims game but I remember loving the game so much I got a new computer just to play sims2
sims2 When my male sims got abducted I thought it was so neat! Then he started to gain weight, I just didn't understand what was goin on. My male sim got pregnant!! i was flabbergasted, I laughed so hard.It was so many years ago I will never forget that feeling.
