I turn the aging off until I am ready to age up all toddlers. Then I turn on Long lifespan after the 1st toddler ages up to a child giving me the chance to age up remaining toddler(s) so that everyone - on a long life span are aged differently. I do sometimes wait until the calender shows their upcoming birthday, then I'll just 'plan' that one. I remember when in Sims you could watch your toddler grow, that was before when infants didn't exist. or maybe it was an older generation of sims that I saw it - 🤪 I wish they would tweek it and put it back in the game or maybe a slider for the duration of pregnancy. I feel that normal is way too short for me even with only 1 birth - teen age group. I have never tried to play teens on "normal" aging.
