I'm just the opposite, I actually like that those are locked. But yes I am goal oriented player.
I actually dislike that everything is right there available in CAS, as I prefer TS2 style to buy my sims clothing from store (TS2 also had loading screens, so im used to) , but I totally get that not many like the hassle and all being there already in CAS is very handy.
