Most of the base game non-starter homes were really well designed, which was surprising.
The Sims 3 worlds would have good houses for iconic characters, but horrible houses for most pre-mades and empty ones. Even just the colours were terrible.
The Sims 2 was hit and miss but most Sims 2 houses looked bad because they didn’t have enough furniture with the same theme, so they always looked a bit odd even with later games.
The Sims 4 EP lots do leave a bit to be desired though. Windenburg has some decent houses (especially on the island) but San Myshuno and Brindleton Bay felt super uninspired. Especially the ground lots.
The lots from OR, Vampires and JA were really nice though, I always feel bad for deleting them.
