The only thing I miss from The Sims 3 CAS is the color picker for nearly anything — skin, hair colors (roots, main, highlights, lowlights), makeup, clothing details, etc. You could create quite unique Sims and base-game outfits this way.
But I do love the very detailed shaping & sculpting in the Sims 4.
I think The Sims 4 could easily implement sliders, as long as we also keep the "dragging" technique. Technically, we are dragging points on the Sims to certain values, and those should be able to be managed more specifically/granularly with sliders or typing numeric values.
