I play a dynasty with many generations and I don't have the patience to play all the elders since they're mostly retired. I play them a bit, get bored and I find it too cruel to kill them off by exhaustion or drowning so here's what I did.
I killed a Sim I wasn't playing (Malcolm Landgraab) and when the Grim Reaper showed up, I used testingcheats in order to add him to the family. I then maxed his flower arranging and gardening skills, planted a bunch of death flowers, and whenever I need a household of elders to die, I visit them with the special death flower arrangement.
Easy peasy and fun to control the Grim Reaper!
