The Grim Reaper isn't Evil

It's an interesting view to have of Death as being "Evil": in the game because death isn't good or bad. It's simply a fact of existence. Everyone is born and everyone will die. But today I noticed a flirty Sim asking the Reaper if it was single and it responded with "Forces of Evil have no time for Romance".

  • Huh, I never thought of Death as evil. Even the 'grim reaper' is only 'grim' because its serious work, not because it's evil. He isn't necessarily taking souls to hell, just on to the next place. I wonder if *that* Grim in your Sims game rolled an Evil character trait, because others I've had aren't evil.
From the Sims Wiki "However, there are multiple versions of the Grim Reaper that can visit a lot, all with different personalities. He will often possess traits that encourage mean or peculiar interactions, such as evil, mean spirited, inappropriate or insane." I quite enjoy the idea of an insane Grim!
  • He spawns with randomly generated traits, so he doesn't have to necessarily be evil.
  • I get my sims to become friends w Grim by first killing one (I mean I have too, don't look at me that way lol) and then getting them to introduce themselves to him. Then, because he doesn't like hanging out in person much, I have them text, call, and chat with him online. Did you know its actually an achievement to become buddies with Death? ?

We should have one that randomly appears and cleans your house.

    The Grime Reaper.

I laughed way too long at this.
  • The Grim Reaper is neither good nor evil. If anything, Grimmy is lawful neutral if we are considering alignments.
