The sims have become boring and have no real emotions or memories (would you really go out to Bears night with a sim you had just caught in bed with your spouse?)
I delete all most of the event days on the calendar, I mean really.. Talk like a Pirate day!!! A day where you can get into a punch up with a random stranger after saying 'Hello' and then be friends!!! Get real..
All the realism that is introduced into the game is PC brainwashing and I'm too old for that.
I was looking forward to Realm of Magic but we got a version of Harry Potter!!
I feel that sims 4 is pretty to look at but the sims and the game play have totally gone towards the younger generation and does not have anything for us older players who have played it since sims 1. It's as if we don't matter.

I completely agree. The sad reality is we don’t matter. (I’ve been playing the game since 2000). In this version it’s crystal clear all that matters is their target audience of teenage girls and their sole focus is being a safe space. Their trailer of fans talking about the game being an escape from real life problems said it all. (Also simmers over 24 were excluded from taking part )

I play lots of games in all kinds of genres. I’m probably not the target audience for many; but I don’t feel excluded in the community. I have also never saw a franchise slam the door on its own fan base so hard whilst prioritising a select group, showering them with swag and dlc and deciding their opinions are worth more than others.
