LOL, I never saw anything like that (don't own the kitchen waffle SP), is it a glitch, or is he quality that poor? :)
It's the recipe for pleasantly-unpleasant waffles, which uses a trash fruit so it puts a tiny bag of trash on the plate. Some sims like eating that dish and some sims say it's got horns lol.
There a small number of recipes that a sim can use trash fruit as an ingredient. 🙂 And you don't need the Home Chef Hustle pack. I'm fairly sure it's a base game thing.
