I always enjoy this discussion, it's interesting to see how different players pronounce it.
I've always pronounced it this way, I'm not sure why. Looking at everyone's replies, though, I think both options absolutely make sense.
(Although sometimes I throw all caution to the wind and just call it "play mode"! :wink:)
I wonder if it has anything to do with where different players are from?
