The mysterious leaked SP pack

I came across this message today:

First I don't believe in accidental leaks, I think it's a way to tease the community. But what amazed me is that there are people who bought it without knowing what is it?! Really? EA must be pleased with blind buying customers...

That's confirmed fake. Someone admitted that they made this up for "laughs"

I was away for some time, I know about the leak but never thought actually people bought it. To me is obvious that was a PR move, EA would not allow earlier download of the game.

What I honestly find more interesting is the refunds. Theoretically, it could have just been treated like a preorder, right? Then the content would be released on the proper release day. I know it was a website malfunction, but so long as the price was correct and people knew what they were buying (in this case an unreleased, mystery stuff pack) I suspect they could have kept it.

I never really expected them to be so quick to return it.

I still can't believe they would spend 10$ on a pack with no name, no description, no information whatsoever.

Sul sul!

As there are already several threads on this topic, I'm closing this one to keep things tidy and would ask you to keep speculating in one of the existing discussions, for example HERE.

Thank y'all! :)
