The Pancakes and Multiples

While I’ve never gotten triplets before, twins seem to run high in my Frost family. One of my Sims has twin daughters. One of those daughters went and had twin sons. Then after a single birth, she went and had yet another set of twins!

As for the Pancake family, I can’t say I’ve experienced much with them; because of how much I can’t stand Eliza, I’m merely letting them die off without any more generations following.

It's not the Pancakes. I started a new 100 baby challenge and my sim got triplets and another set of triplets. I'm sure she would've got another set of triplets if the household space had allowed it!

I think it's some kind of bug tbh, not specifically related to the Pancakes. Most of my families are having twins and triplets. I liked it before but now it's just getting annoying.

It definitely could be. While these two had the triplets, there have been a bunch of multiple births. I hope it gets fixed soon. My sims count is getting out of control.

If you go back about three pages, there's an old thread that got bumped up of people talking about having a lot of twins/triplets, and I guess it's happening for people again. I've never played with the Pancakes and I'm currently playing on console. For my 100 Baby Challenge, the mother has been pregnant six times and only the last time resulted in twins being born. She can't have anymore babies until I get some kids moved out, but I'm intrigued to see if she keeps having more multiples or not because of this, now that she's already had twins.

There was a bug after a patch around the time that " get to work" was released, where there was a flood of multiple births. In my save game then, Zoe Patel and Mitchell Kalani had quadruplets.

I'm glad the multiple bug hasn't infested my game *knock on wood.* I was a little nervous when my very first birth in the game was twins, but so far I've only had singles since. I liked back when getting multiples was a huge surprise. I remember how rare twins were in TS2, and how if I decided I wanted them, I'd make my pregnant sims chow down on cheesecake.

The Pancakes have one daughter in one of my saves.
