The pros and cons of playing with aging on or off

I always play with aging off. I like to play the game/families at my own pace without worrying about not accomplishing certain things before a sim gets too old/dies. For me that just makes the game more stressful lol. I also like to play multiple houses at a time, so I don't want the ones I'm currently not playing to age while I'm away. I age them up with birthday cakes when I'm ready
