The purpose of Newcrest was?

I really like making different type buildings and saving them to the Gallery too. I recently had a game meltdown and lost several families that I really loved. (Can anyone say, backup, backup, backup?) Anywho, so now I build a couple of lots whenever the inspiration hits me, place them into my library and I can restart new games and just make any kind of neighborhoods I want.

I have learned my lesson and only have 1-2 families per saved game. It's a hassle but at least I won't risk losing most of them. :(
