The shotgun style?

Hey, my game is in swedish and i noticed the other day when i was browsing the filter options in build/buy mode that one category is called "hagelgevär" which means shotgun in swedish... and there are some lamps, a mailbox and a windowthingy. WHY? Do you have this in the english version aswell? Im so confused by this. :D :D

  • In Sims 3 there was a house called Shotgun Style in Sunset Valley. It was a little starter home, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a kitchen that joined onto a living room style area, but the lot it was on came with a lot of extra space for building.

Actual Shotgun Style homes more closely resemble starter homes in 4 like the Crick Cabana. They were popular in America up until the 1900s at some point, I think. Quite old fashioned, small, sort of narrow.

That house basically doesn't resemble one at all.

I didnt know that shotgun was a house style, but i think we wouldnt translate it in sweden cus it sounds very weird in swedish. We would probably say shotgun in english in sweden too if its a house style.
