Or at least how I picture this press release would be lol....if I knew things and i don't. I don't.
Phew!
It's very well put together, is this something you would want in a future Sims game @TOLKIEN ? I know a lot of us seem to be against the idea, but I think those who are for it should absolutely voice their opinion too.
P.S. Please don't scare us like that!
P.P.S. You should be a Copywriter, you're quite good.
I based this press on whats been said in past stock holder financial calls about the series looking towards socializing in the Sims and how I'd imagine they'd evolve the game into an online component from a designers point of view.
I'd definitely love to see a tool like C.A.N though, in an open world single player environment in the next game. I'd never play online myself either, but I still play the Sims 3 so theres that lol.
Though I suspect this draft press release might be closer to the truth, based on gaming social trends and with EA looking into season passes or subscriptions when the Sims 4 was initially released (but quickly stepped away from). Something they'd definitely study again, especially with the success of Fortnites monthly content passes earning Epic billions in revenue. It really comes down to how profitable packs are vs a subscription model for consumers in 2022.
Thanks the compliments, I do enjoy writing fiction, its in the name and once in a blue moon I write horror, does this count? ;)
