I was quite excited about the re-release of TS2 and happy to pay out (again) for the collection if they run like butter. But I just popped over into TS2 section of the forum and definitely don't like what I'm seeing there... I will put my purchase on hold for now. If it doesn't run any better than the version I already own, then there's no point in buying.
