I have the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, which runs just fine on my laptop. Does anyone know if the Legacy Edition is better quality (like if it has better graphics or runs better) than the UC? Or, if someone has them both, are there any significant differences? I know about the IKEA Stuff pack being missing from the new version, so I'm just wondering if the Store Content is there or if there are any other changes/improvements.
For me, it loads significantly faster and the graphics are smoother at higher settings. The store content will only be there if you have it still and can drag it over from UC or wherever you've saved it. IKEA pack can also be dragged over and added. There are a couple other things that need to be done to make it work (and there's a GitHub thing about it, just search GitHub Ikea Legacy and you should find it). It's in my game and running fine. Nothing too hard. I was also able to add my CC, mods, and hacks from UC and it's all working fine.
