It's okay? I see a few things I'd love to have in my game, but the overall theme doesn't seem very new or interesting. I'm tired of so many packs feeling like remakes of older content. I get they're expanding on older themes that were underdeveloped before, but I'm ready for something new.
I like the little bird but it's probably set dressing, like most birds in the game.
EDIT: I really like archery, but I wonder if they'll fully realize it. Can we have competitions? Can we harass other sims? Can we hunt animals (in a child-friendly way?) Can our kids fling arrows around the house and break expensive vases? I'm worried it'll just be our sims hitting a stationary target and improving our aim, maybe doing a couple of tricks, and that's it.

They don't do archery at my kids' school per se, but they have club days, where they bring in extra-curricular activities and let kids try them out, see what they like and then help kids get into those activities. Archery is a regular one at the school.

I'm going to start getting rid of old expansion packs to make room for the new. My poor computer! I'll probably drop Vampires and Realm of Magic. I like the look of this new neighborhood and the exercise bike. I look forward to vacationing there.
I dont know if they can re package scouts into this pack from Seasons because this pack seems so much more fitting. Also this needs to have an Island Living amount of non debug landscaping because the last EP landscaping selection was upsetting.
This does kinda seem like an Outdoor Retreat 2.0 but I think this will have enough differences to redeem that. Can't wait for this pack and I will be pre ordering.

Hmmm... kayaking and archery both interest me, depending on how they are done. And I would be glad to have the exercise bike back in the game. I will look forward to finding out more.

I really like the look of this one. I will be buying on day 1! Love getting more things for my sims to do. The world looks beautiful and I hope we can live on the water lot. I also hope we can interact with that little bird. He is so cute. Looking forward to the trailer tomorrow to find out more.

Omg, the world looks beautiful. It looks like you can use the kayaks, that would be cool.
I‘d be interested in the pack. I‘ll definitely watch the Trailer tomorrow. 😀 - GalacticGal21 days agoLegend
I do not know, to be honest. I did state it was back in the early '70s. Much has changed. Kids aren't allowed to ride their bikes all over town, they most certainly aren't allowed to play outside until the streetlamps come on, when they must beat-feet to get home again. And Halloween candy needs to be run through an X-ray machine, first, before they indulge in it. What a mean world it has become.

There were very strict Safety Rules by which we had to conduct ourselves. No going to retrieve your arrow until given the All-Clear, just as an example.

I am now thinking this is inspired by Lake Taupo holiday resorts in New Zealand. It appears they are known for water sport activities, spas, hot springs, RVing, camping, etc. So this might be a hotel resort pack with emphasis of adventure, physical and outdoor type activities (like a counterpart to Snowy Escape). The terrain and buildings looks like a close enough match too. Only thing missing is the water parks known to the area.
