Something that is making me snap is that you can't always cancel it when an NPC has decided to talk to your Sim and THAT I find absolutely infuriating. I resort to traveling to a different lot in order to avoid such an NPC. It makes me really appreciate some of the more controversial mods out there :|
I have resorted to make a room in the library lot with a locked door so that only my sim gets in, because otherwise it's a damn nightmare.
