I have set the EA app to only run when I want (not on Windows start), and set the EA Background service to Manual start. I haven't had it lose my library as yet. Perhaps if you tried that switch that'll make a difference?
The EA app doesn't start up with windows. I turned that off the day I installed the app. How do I set the ea background service to start manually? It's worth a try.
