I'm not so sure about the buy by september 2nd and you will get three additional items. It's kinda like a pre-order but not really because it's available a couple of weeks after release. It doesn't mix well with them releasing their packs with bugs where we have to wait months for them to be fixed, I still have trouble with my plants reverting to dirt piles.

I think this is their way of saying "hey, get these items now and suffer with the bugs or never get them at all" which I guess people will have to decide if it's worth it or not. I was always excited for preorder bonuses or items in Limited Editions with The Sims 3 but in The Sims 4 it feels more like an attempt to make sales before people really discover the bugs and potential disappointment with the pack.
They should be able to patch the game in august so I think the offer is okay. You can wait one month to give them time to fix serious bugs with the new pack if there are any.
