Glad it worked out for you. 🙂 I really had difficulty choosing a branch but ended up selecting the ApotheCurist branch. I think once she reaches the top of the career I'm going to have her quit and try the Lifestyle Coaching branch.
Anyone that was around when I posted about my fairy ranch hand from a game save I had (earlier in this thread/months ago). Well I loved her as an NPC so much I did save her to my library and add her as an NPC/Not in World just to see her once in a while. Well today I decided my newest game save would get some mini sheep and a ranch hand, and it pulled her! I am soooo happy to see this fairy again!
I just wish we could re-dress ranch hands/career outfits X /
It is great that the game chose to have your previous fairy ranch sim as your current ranch hand ! 🙂It is lovely that you can now again enjoy seeing her in your game. I hope that she will go well looking after your mini sheep.

Actually, if you save her from the game to the Library when she is a ranch hand NPC, she will keep this career with herself unless you play her in-game. So, if your new save hasn't had a ranch hand yet (No premade ranch hand anyway), it's 100% chance to get her if she's the only one NPC available at that time. This would be possible for your future save files as well.
About the outfit, I think you can re-dress her by making a uniform for one of her outfit slots by yourself, then ask her to wear that outfit when she works. (Or if you have MCCC, you can change the outfit immediately)
OMG, yes, I could just ask her! Yeah, I don't use MCCC the icon was too annoying and always around. I just wish they updated so we could edit situations and career outfits.
Better! But I guess I didn't have her a winter wardrobe (I mass dressed her in 1 outift) LOL.

Her hairstyle is better revealed outside the hat. I think you can make a cold outfit for winter as well, unless you want her to have the image of being immune to any weather. 😆
For your previous comment, I understand your reason for the annoying icon. I avoid having pose mods and various tool mods for this reason. But I can't play without MCCC because I still need many features of it. I had it for years, so I feel familiar now.
