I pretty well agree with most of the other user comments. I really like the game so far, its been a little confusing to get the hang of it but I have a lot of the controls pretty well sorted out. I really enjoy the whole realism to it etc.
What I would like is a semi open world.. where you can go to your neighbours and there wont be a loading screen etc. But to travel to venues there could be. I miss carpool, cars, bus' also. Toddlers is by far one of the things I miss the most though. They were one of my favourite life stages as I play mostly to make families, and along with the toddler I really miss the family tree. I never realized how much I checked it until it was gone. Pools I am okay with but would be happy for their return somewhere down the line. I really dislike having so many kids at once, one or 2 would be fine at one time and then to have a toddler and baby sibling. I hope all this will make a return soon.
I would also like to see a pre-teen life stage added.
Overall I really enjoy the game but I can tell I will be bored quickly. Do I regret the purchase though? No.
