First of all, I have love The Sims games every since they came out. I have bought EVERY single one of them. Im a 40 year old nerdy gamer when it comes to this game! Anyway, lets see...
What I like? Added some more likes...after playen the game for a little.
1. The create a sim is pretty cool. I love how you can just click and fix.
2. The walking part of the sims is cool also! I read and laughed at a response that the goofy walk looks like a rabid werewolf. Still laughen!
3. The choice to breast feed.
4. The whole pregnancy test idea.
5. The fact that they carry on a conversation. I had a female sim that followed her husband upstairs with a plate of food in her hand, sat down on the couch and ate while she was talking to him. Very nice touch.
6. The whole family talks to each other and interacts with each other and I don't even have to tell them to do it!
7. Cheat code box doesn't go away each time you do the cheat...motherlode...the box stays there so all you have to do is keep typen.
8. I like this game but so far I like TS3 more! We will see how long that last cause I know they are planning great thing for this game!
Now for the things I don't like.
1. World is WAY to small. I like to see LOTS of sims living in my world and be able to switch and play ALOT of households! Also don't like the "white" screen in the world...it makes it feel empty.
2. Graphics....I mean wow...I thought for a second that something was wrong with my computer. I have everything on very high but it still looks like Sims 2 graphics! It feels like we stepped back in time!
3. No cars. I found a "model car" bought it and put it out on my lot, paned in closer and started cussing!
4. No open world. That's all im gonna say about that!
5. WHERE did my edit town go?
6. Those pop up boxes...again...started cussing!
7. The inability to change colors and fabric of clothing...yeah y'all spoiled us with that one now you want to take it away!
8. Where did the life span choice go?
9. Miss the babies! or should I say toddlers.
10. No pools!
11. The fact that you don't have a main screen. You have to go through create a sim to start. Very confusing!
12. I have said it before...MIDDLE NAMES PLEASE!!
13. I miss the family tree. Bring it back please! Added...REALLY MISS THIS!!!
14. I really wish y'all would have merged the Sims 2 and 3 with a few tweaks here and there and presto the Sims 4!
15. Story progression broke or didn't come with this base game? Seriously....bring it back!
16. No way that I have found to make long eyelashes!
17. Color choices for eyes...what would be even cooler is if we could give them 2 different color eyes!
18. Hair styles don't look real! I liked the idea on TS3 that you could put highlights and tips in their hair. Please let me know if I have just overlooked that cause im not finding that option!
19. No way to make short and tall sims. We can do almost everything else but that and MIDDLE NAMES!
20. The life choices is ok...for now...but the number of traits allowed and the lack of choices available is not okay!

21. The scroll on the screen...left right and up are ok but going down is like laying on a bed of glass...you dread it when you have to do it!
22. The fact that I had to hunt for ( don't know how long) the way to turn furniture around. Accidentally figured it out. Right click on mouse for those who haven't figured it out yet.
23. The fact that my person that is pregnant still has to go to work! They get real cranky when they come home!
24. You cant see what the needs are when they go to school or work. Makes it real hard to prepare!
25. The clothes...most of them...look horrible!
Im sure this will be one of the greatest Sims game ever made...but sadly it has a long way to go! Merge the Sims 2 and 3 with a few upgrades and adjustments and I think y'all would have had the greatest game ever made...The way this one turned out, not so much sorry to say! Im still a fan and I will keep this base games and hope that y'all listen to everything that your fans are saying because quiet frankly they know what would make this game great!
