Here's my two cents...... Today is Saturday, Sept. 6 and I have been playing almost all day, everyday since launch.
Like
The game plays well and looks pretty good on my low-end 4 year old Toshiba. However I am sure that once I start adding on EP's, SP's and CC (and I will because I must) that will no doubt effect game play. Thus is why I am patiently waiting for the arrival of my new gaming laptop....anyway I digress. So far, I like the "feel" of the game. Building houses has become easier for me once I got the hang of the tools. I like being able to manage my world. I have spent most of my time playing making sims and replacing families. I do use the motherlode and free real estate cheat. I do like faster loading but again that may change depending on what all has to be loaded. So much for what I like......now...........
Don't Like
Having to be logged into Origin to browse the gallery. I don't like having to deal with Origin at all
The lag caused by being logged into Origin. Every fricking 30 seconds or so the game freezes for a minute or more.
Bring back the color wheel. The present "design" choices are getting old fast.
I miss policemen, military, firemen, business career, baby sitters, toddlers, swimming pools, movie theater, the diner, dishwashers, the hospital, washing machines.....these are just some really basic things that could have been included in a base game. I will be HIGHLY, HIGHLY disappointed if these basics become part of expansion or stuff pack.
Such a small world, but I WILL buy an EP if it means the inaccessible areas will open up.
Needs decay too fast and emotions get in the way. Come on....uncomfortable because you gotta pee.....I can tell that already because your plumbbob is changing colors......duh
A cow plant came with the base game but swimming pools did not because why??.
He died waaaay too fast in a fire from cooking a grilled cheese sandwich. He had a smoke detector/alarm but no firemen came.
There is more that I can do without but you asked..........
I forgot to mention that the pee dance in S3 was ok but the S4 pee walk.....not so much
