I love the multitasking! They can get so much more done. I love the group conversations, but I would love to know what they are talking about. I miss the chatty box that let me know what they were saying to each other when they gossip or share secrets. I feel left out of their conversations lol. Someone mentioned they didn't like how expensive things are, but I actually like the way the money goes. They don't make much, and the bills are more appropriate. It's like real life, and that's what I wanted from v4. I like that more sims walk in front of the house so it's easier to meet others, but I HATE that EVERYTIME you leave the lot (even to cross the street!) you're "traveling" and the load screen comes up. Why is that even necessary? I also hate that there are no family trees. How are you guys encouraging us to share our legacy stories and such and we can't even keep track of it? I don't like that the teenagers are the same size as adults and are practically adults. I miss the toddlers, and I don't like that we can't adjust ages. Twelve days as a child? That is waaaaay too much time and it has discouraged me from playing with the families I've created and even having children with my childless couples. This is random, but I love that when sims lose weight it's gradual just like real life. It was way too dramatic in the other game. I mean, exercise for two hours and you're skinny? And then skip the gym for two days and you're fat again? That wasn't balanced. I made a very large sim for the purpose of losing weight to see how it worked, and it was brilliant. She jogged and boxed for like three weeks straight before I started noticing she was smaller. Then I bought her a treadmill and the weight really started falling off and she's getting more muscular. Good job! I'm probably in the minority on this, but I don't care about pools and weather. I do miss cars though. This game actually reminds me a lot of Sims 2. A lot of things I missed from 2 that didn't make it into 3 have made their way back into 4. Oh! I love that the build tools are streamlined and quick & easy to use. I used to love building houses in 2, but when 3 came out I hated it because it was too complicated to make a beautiful elaborate house. I believe I will get back into building houses in 4. The neighborhoods are waaaaaay too small though. At times when I was bored with 3, I would move out all the sims, use the freerealestate cheat and move in all the sims I made to make my own neighborhood. These 'hoods are too small for that. I could do it, but with just a few. I like that even though it's a "night club" it's open all day and never closes. However, I don't like how all the sims go home at 11! I have some sims who have 2nd and 3rd shift jobs, and so whenever they go to the gym, library, club, it's always empty.
