It took me a couple of hours to get use to the camera and the way everything works in general but after that it was just as if I would have been playing for years :D
-I love most of the skills (there is so many!) and how the emotions help. Gardening is amazing and there is soooo many recipes!
-Kids are adorable and have a lot of cute and fun interactions and tons of toys.
-The "half-open/half-closed" world suits my gameplay style perfectly and I can see how many possibilities there is in there to expand.
-Collectibles are just never-ending, so much to discover!
-The new challenges for promoting at work fit perfectly and add a whole new experience to it, there is also more control over the Sims while they are away which is great.
-Sims are extremely sociable and the towns are crowded.
There is nevertheless some issues and bugs that everybody has already mentioned. There is particularly one that is driving me crazy, my whole neighbourhood is getting either very chubby or very muscular with no reason, I really would love this to be fixed as is very annoying and it kind of dismisses all the work and time that we use in CAS to shape them however we want to.
Also, I thought I wouldn't miss toddlers that much but changing from baby to child is a bit too radical and it takes away a lot of continuity. I have the same feeling as well when they grown into teens, it wasn't like that in previous games but now that teens look like adults, it really feels like there is a life stage missing in there as well.
Overall it is a very strong foundation full of little quirks that will grow strong. I am looking forward for some bugs to be fixed and for perhaps a "generations" kind of EP where a couple of extra life stages would be added to fix the important continuity that is missing. Also, I am hoping for the seasons EP to come soon, the worlds will look just stunning :)
