After playing for two days.
What I like:
The Sims.. they are awesome.. multitasking is phenomenal. Sometimes they don't look at each other while talking tho. And my other Sims became best buds with my sim and she stalks her day and night. I was so excited to see her show up but now she shows up every morning when my Sim is leaving for work. I think if that they were that much bff's then she would know when she is leaving for work. ha
The worlds are really pretty but it breaks my heart that it is not open. I hate looking at the lighted up biz area across the canal and I can't go there.
I really like how we don't have to put cheat codes in now for alot of things.. but we are missing some of the big ones, like MOVEOBJECTS ON cheat. WE need that now!
What I don't like:
Story Progression? Is there any?
I miss the open worlds!! I know there is nothing now that you can do ... but please make the neighborhoods bigger.
I can't take no CASt. I just can't do it. Please make a standalone program or something. A color wheel or something!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing matches and it makes my head spin. I can't deal with it. I'm a decorator (in real life).. it has to match or seem doable. I had to close the program earlier because nothing was working and it made me sick... and pissed.
There is just nothing to do.. the towns are so small and insignificant. I can't even get into the fact that my sim has a job as she has no where to go to do it. I was not on the fan boat to get rid of rabbitholes. At least they added to the town. Now we have nothing to make a town!!! No Courthouse, no Schools, no Work.. Yay for the idiots that wanted no rabbitholes. (And how is watching your Sim disappear outside your front door better than than them going to a rabbithole???? ) At least with a rabbithole it added to the "town" which we have pretty much no town now. How can you have a town with no public buildings?? The"towns" are not TOWNS.. not without city buildings!! I can't get engrossed in this nonsense. It's ridiculous to have no where for our sims to go to work. My imagination doesn't go that far.
GRATS you morons that rallied for no rabbitholes.. now we have no town. You're awesome!!!!!

I gave this game a horrible rating to begin with a 2/5. I think it has much potential .. it will never be a Sims 3 with the open world.. but it has potential. I think if you could make the neighborhood's bigger and include a color wheel of some sort it would do ALOT to make it a better game that everyone is not bashing. Fix alot of the things that relate to the realism of the Sims experience that are missing.. like the TOWN and work places and family tree. AND OF COURSE INCLUDE TODDLERS AND POOLS. You might not have a Sims franchise ending failure on your hand.
Sims 5 you just need to take these Sims and put them into a nonbuggy Sims3 and you would have a massive hit. :) I know.. easier said than done.. but that would make for the most awesome Sims ever.
