Things I like:
New interactions and how great the group interactions are. Especially love the public settings like the bars for socializing.
Lots of cooking options
Graphics and awesome CAS options
I like the build mode and how easy it is to expand rooms.
Emotions and having new options when feeling different emotions
How different the two worlds seem and how we can easily travel between or move sims around
The gallery and how easy it is to add new sims or lots
New careers
Having multiple outfits that your sim switches to
Children are so cute
Things I don't like:
No family tree (I like to have large families that leave and grow so it's nice to keep track.) :( But they did say they will be working on this
I wish there were more normal careers as well like business or doctor. But hopefully more will be added
Repairing objects that break all the time
No toddlers (obvious)
Building friendships and maintaining them seems hard and I wish we had an idea of why some people bond more (like maybe it could say these sims share traits so they build a friendship faster.)
