I've been an avid simmer ever since the first one came out!
I was truly excited to start simming away on what was anticipated as the best sims yet!
First off, it took me THREE HOURS to install the game, i hate the new origin start up, i get that it will make life easier in the long run if you lose your disc, but 1. no clear instructions, i had to search on the internet for ages to work out how to install it, NOT download it and 2. i keep getting annoying adverts popping up with origin every time i log on to my laptop. Just seems like another way for EA to make money.
Once I finally got on to the game, i was a bit disappointed, it reminded me of TS1 & TS2. I feel as though the creators have concentrated solely on giving the sims emotions and as a consequence that have neglected everything else that made the sims!
Don't get me wrong, i still love the game and no doubt i will spend hours on it, i'm just a little disappointed giving the massive hype that surrounded the game before the launch!
I spend all my time watching my sims, i dont feel as though i need to interact with them anymore. They're either at work (where you can't even look at their needs let alone follow them to work anymore!) in the shower, or sleeping.
However, i came across Don Lothario at the gym, I do like his new makeover! I'm glad he has still obtained his sleazeball enigma despite everything else!
Anyway, I'm off to continue playing, I do hope I begin to enjoy TS4 more, it's still a great game, but it's lacking simple things TS3 nailed.
