Firstly thank you for posting this thread :)
Sims 4 is not completely what I expected in that it surpassed my expectations in some ways and not so much in others that I am very happy to share.
I love the emotions but also the change to gameplay, including how the career ladders are made. It feels like a different game and I hope maxis continues to build upon the new game structure they have made.
I love how aspirations and goals work. I like having goals to complete for anything like parties, weddings, work and hobbies. I love that structure as well as the achievements feel more satisfying now.
I LOVE the cartoony style!!!
What I donèt like is the lack of many things being stripped from the game, such as weather and supernatural things :P I understand it IS a base but I would have loved to have some rain in my game for my sims to interact with. Perhaps having a trait for sims who love water and rain.
There are a lack of things to do when you visit venues except for the gym. There are just a bunch of chairs and music.
I would like for children to be able to have more things to do like, such as play the guitar or piano.
Overall I am excited to see what maxis has in store for the sims 4!....please no more 20 dollar venues and towns. PLEASE.
