I have been a big Sims fan for years and seeing how far The Sims have come is amazing! TS4 is awesome and has even more possibilities than the previous Sims. I love the new CAS. Now you can really get detailed with your Sims. I even happened to notice that there are pantie lines on the leggings! haha Now that's detailed! I like how building things can be a lot faster and easier now also. The parties are awesome as well. I love the goals. The only thing I was disappointed about was that there is still no "baby shower" party option. It seems like it would be easy enough to add in. In TS3 seasons we were able to throw gift opening party's for Christmas time, so I know you could have added another "special" kind of party for when your Sims are expecting.
Things I have noticed so far that I dislike about TS4 is that there are no toddlers! I mean come on, you made them just fine in the previous games so there should be no excuse for not being able to make them. I think that there are no toddlers because the creators simply wanted to push the game out ASAP and toddlers would push back the date. If you have took the time to create something (like having toddlers) in the previous Sims, then they should be carried over to the new version with improvements. Another thing I don't like, and I'm sure it's been mentioned, is no pools! You couldn't dig down in the world? Well I'm sure there is a solution. Above ground pools maybe? Or in deck pools? Another thing: in the world view there are hardly any community lots to choose from, and also not enough build lots...
My suggestion would be to release a patch or even an expansion pack that fixes some of these issues. Add cars, pools, toddlers, more party options (like baby showers) and also more build and community lots. Also in the entertainment career you have the option the be a comedian or musician but not an actor/actress. I think that should be an option as well.
Overall thoughts: I am already excited to see what types of expansion packs you'll be coming out with! I think the game has massive potential. It is already super fun to play and has me hooked. Good job on the game overall.
