I feel like the sims has taken a huge step backwards. To me this isnt a improvement but a remade sims 2, I was hoping for so much more for this game but sadly it didnt happen. Heres what I like and dont like:

CAS- Cas is great and has really improved. I love i can make my sims features look unique and very detailed
The game runs smoother..and doesnt seem to lag
Sims multitasking

no. open. world! Thats exactly what i loved about sims 3, I know lag was an issues but if done the right way with much time and effort it could have been doable. Going from open world in sims 3 to this small, closed world is sad. Theres not much to do or any places to really go to. I loved taking my sims to the beach, going out to eat, going to the movies, going to a huge open park. When i heard that was not going to be in sims 4..there was no way i could purchase the game. That to me was a huge step back.
CAST- You've heard it a million times, but cast was super important to me. I loved decorating my sims clothing and their house..putting different patterns on my sims clothes to make it unique and different even if was the same shirt i made them wear all the time. Painting the walls a different color to match my funiture. ITs gone and I wish you would have left that in the game.
No toddlers- awful decision to removed toddlers and I hope EA wont try to sell toddlers in a expansion pack. That would be ridiculous. They get annoying buts its a realistic life stage. How often do you see a baby just magically appear as a child? Never.
loading screens- unacceptable. We shouldnt have to go through that many loading screens..even just to go next door. i know their like 20 secs but still...its not okay.
Hair- sims 2 and 3 hair was way better! Now it just looks like a plastic blocky mess on their heads. Even the eyelashes look like strip or eyeliner. Not individual lashes.

cast
All i can hope is that sims 5 will be better otherwise i think this will be the end of the sims for me. I will probably just play sims 2 and 3 but only time can tell and i will just have to wait and see how sims 5 will turn out even though thats a roads away from now.
