There are so many aspects of this game that I like but one single problem is ruining it for me - the lack of colour customisation. It's taking me far too long to decorate interiors because I have to keep changing my mind about which furniture or colours I can use so that everything matches up. You simply can't mix and match enough and it feels just too limiting.
After nearly 130 hours of gameplay I'm finding Sims 3 beckoning me back because the ability to customise was unrestricted and therefore more enjoyable for me personally. Now I'm caught between Sims 3 and Sims 4, making me wonder which game to load when I sit at my computer. This is an uncomfortable feeling taking away what should feel excitement for opening the game so what I'm now finding is that I don't load either game and instead go off to find something else to do.
After playing for all those hours I now realise that if the lack of customisation continues, I won't be moving forward with Sims 4 or buying any more expansion packs. What a disappointment! :(
