Ok, I went back over to my friend's house and he let me take another crack at playing for awhile. I actually really like that there are some options to choose the style of the cabinets and counters. I do appreciate that, but I wish that counters already in place could be modified instead of having to buy a new one and alter the shape.
Some suggestions:
*Allow changing of shape of counters/cabinets in styling option after placing.
*Maybe have a blueprint like thing where instead of actually buying everything you choose if you want the general layout or the specific objects and you can pick which ones you want and then adjust them before committing to the purchase. This would be good for players who don't use the motherlode cheat.
*I would love it if some of the curved shapes for islands were available for regular counters.
*Curved cabinets/counters that wrap around an outside corner
*Cabinets and counters that can link up when placed on a neo angle (sort of diagonal)
*Neo angle lower corner cabinet to match the upper cabinet
I really wish there was a way to add a color wheel in and have some sort of in-game customization tool to add new colors. I realize that its too late at this point to have modular objects with different hardware and countertop shapes and such, but it would be nice to at least be able to adjust the colors.
I guess a lot of my ideas will have to be put forth for Sims 5 since I think some things aren't possible with Sims 4.
