What I liked:
- Goal orientated gameplay. I think TS4 is a happy medium between Sims Medieval (too restricting) and TS1-TS3 (sandbox) and a nice change of pace.
- The cooking animations - simply hilarious!
- Collectables (frog breeding!)
- Harder bills and faster dropping motives
What I disliked:
- Free will cannot be turned off completely
- Teens look too much like late teens
- The game generates too many townies, I hardly ever meet my own CAS created townies and families.
Wishes/suggestions:
- A lifestage between children and late teens (unable to have romances, but with the full skillset and work options)
- Bring back pools and also non-swimmer pools and beach activities
- Users should be able to set a maximum number of sims allowed to be created in the offworld sims bin (townies) or to toggle random townies creation off altogether
- An even lower free will option where sims do not attempt to replenish to their motives. Not even to save their lifes and dignity!
- An option to buy every book written and published by a sim
- Seperate bookcases. I want to organize my books (childrens´ books go into the kid´s room bookcase, cooking skill books in the kitchen and so on)
- Graveyards. I don´t feel comfortable keeping remains in my houses.
- Lockable doors!
