I still haven't totally delved into all of the aspects of the game yet but missing pools is pretty huge. Also, what happened to the other large appliances for the kitchen? Trash compactors and dishwashers would be fantastic to have back. My sim seems to never have any idea how to clean dishes up and i've put two sinks in my kitchen.
I do like the new way that relationships develop. That's been fun to explore. I just think if a lot of the items that were always available from day one were held back for future expansions or "purchasable packs," is a pretty crummy decision. I can't think of any logical reason for pools to be taken away. That's always been one of my favorite things to build.
