The Sims 4 Forever Friends Reward Event

It's not just the event goals that are slow to register. I don't know if anyone is having this issue, but it takes a while to check off aspiration goals as well. I've noticed this because I'm constantly switching back and forth between aspirations to collect points.

lanlynk​ rosemow​   I don't use cc or mod but I only had to buy a new toybox and new stuffed animal.  I aged up a toddler to do the event and found so many bugs with the birthday event and reported some of them yesterday  - none were new - just new to me.  it took 2 different attempts  to age up my toddler.😛  It felt like the game was being pushy too as both parents and grandparents in household got a 3rd 'want' to "complete forever friends ?" I don't remember exact wording.  While I was having issues aging up Tamar.   Once this was accomplished, Tamar's grandfather completed all the tasks that were not required to be done by a child!   Tamar actually only did 2 of the tasks out of all of them. I kept resetting the grandfather to stop him from doing the tasks as he was doing them automatically - Even woke him up in the middle of the night - energy bar had just turned green - and he was up wanting to talk to the stuffed animal.  I finally surrendered and let him do all of them, but 2.  

But now I have a question - Can anyone direct me to a place where I can educate myself about how different saves actually work???  I have only ever played rotationally, 1 game = 5 ?  saves?  something like that.   

I have just finished week three event quests and the night light reward keeps getting put in the toybox by the maid like it is a toy and not a table lamp.

Oh, boo, Active Imagination is child only trait.

It's nice to have more CAS Traits for Children-Sims, but why limit it to Children-Sims only? I don't understand why. What's the reasoning EA? 🤷‍♀️

It makes sense, IRL adults have less imagination than kids (known as being overflowing with imagination).

Sorry but after having spent time over the last 4 weeks doing this event you would think by now the last item you get would be something really worthwhile  . pretty much everything they have given away seems to be what is NOT good enough to put in packs , Magnets you cannot attach to the fridge etc , just small wall stickers .

Please EA if you are going to spam our screens with these events please at least put some items into them that are worth getting 

I did most of the parts using adults , Some do need a child ,  SPOILER Also where it says to put your stuffed toy in Sylvan Glade and say good bye , when it said  time to go home i put it back in my inventory and took it back with me .

Magnets you cannot attach to the fridge

Was my reaction to the magnets, too. I will never use them.

TalishaRose​ I have an adult sim who keeps autonomously playing with the night light and then putting it in their inventory. I was excited about getting another light to prevent monsters under the bed, but it's definitely categorized as a toy and isn't useful.
