There are more than likely already aliens working in the lab with your current Sim. If you are really curious, you can always install the debug mod. You can click on the other Sim and find out what their hidden traits are, this will include if they are aliens or not. I have no idea how you would normally discover aliens, lol.
I didn't even realize some of her coworkers might be Aliens! think I'll wait and be surprised. She sim has the incredibly friendly reward trait so she learns sims' traits pretty quickly.
I don't think she will learn they are aliens though. Leah is so close to Tiernan that they could be best friends. She knows everything about him, she does not know he's an alien. I have no idea when they discover this or how. I know that doctors can "see" it, I think. She's going to go into that career eventually so I might hold off on their relationship to see if she can discover what he is that way.
I found my first Alien in bed. He glowed after. And I was all O_o.
