I've been away way too long. Been busy with a craft fair and Christmas stuff, along with dad stuff.

Anyways, I am hoping to play Get Famous soon, as I have the pack and an idea. Now where were we?

The next day was Summer Splash, essentially a day of getting wet and cooling off.

To start off Summer Splash, Caleb and Dash took the twins out to the small pool to cool off.

"Ready to get out now, Bryte?" asked Dash.

"Yee! Yee!" Bryte shouted happily, Dash taking him out of the pool and dressing him for the day.

"Hey Dash!" Dot called. "Mind coming here for a second?"

"Coming," said Dash, Bryte looking on as his sister splashed her Daddy Caleb.

"What's up, Sis?" asked Dash.

"This! Incoming!!" Dot shouted, lobbing a water balloon at her brother.

"Ack!" Dash exclaimed, Dot giggling.

"I found them under the sink," Dot explained. "Thought they fit well with Summer Splash."

Dash quickly grabbed a balloon and tossed it at Dot.

"Yeah, they do. Time to get splashed, sis!"

"Gak! You got me in the face!" Dot shouted.

"Whoops! Sorry!" Dash called before hearing Dot laugh again.

Dash made a face.

"You newt! I thought I really hurt you!!"

"Oh yeah?" said Dash. "Well same to you too!"

"Okay then," said Dot, hurling another balloon. "Catch!"

"Wh-!" Dash exclaimed, trying clumsily to grab the water balloon.

As Dash went to change into some dry clothes, Caleb noticed Bryte with some bottles and jars from the kitchen, beginning to spill it all over the ground.

"Umm...Bryte," Caleb tried to scold calmly. "That isn't a good idea...You may attract buggies."

"Bugsbugsbugs!!" the tot laughed estatically, Caleb giving a sigh.

Dash soon came out and saw the mess, this time not taking any more of Bryte's disobedience.

"Bryte Vatore, that is it!! I have told you time and time again not to be making these messes!"

"Outta!" Bryte explained.

"Doesn't matter if it is outside! There will be no dessert for you tonight, mister!"

Bryte began to sniffle, Dash still fuming.

"That's not going to work this time, young man! Just for that, no dessert for a week!"

"Hey now, Dashi," said Caleb. "That's a bit harsh. How about no dessert for the rest of our vacation. A few days, you know? Might be sufficient enough for spilling all that chocolate."

"Alright," said Dash, going off and returning with a mop to clean up the mess. "Seriously, Bryte. Bugs aren't a good thing!"

Dot then called from the firepit.

"Hey Dash! We going for that walk?"

"I can handle the kids," said Caleb as he took Britt out from the pool.

"You sure?" asked Dash. "I mean you didn't notice Bryte making that mess there."

"Well I had to make sure this lil tyke wasn't drowning, right? It'll be fine!"

Dash accepted, going over to chat with his sister.

"Ready to go?"

"I was asking you the same thing," said Dot. "C'mon. I heard there are some frogs that you can find that you can't get anywhere else!"

While Dot and Dash prepared for their walk, mainly discussing where to walk to, Caleb was teaching Bryte how to hiss like a vampire.

As Dot and Dash walked through the woods, Dash picked some flowers to give to Caleb as a present.

Eventually, they came across a log, Dot digging through as Dash lay on the ground.

"Hey, sis?" asked Dash.

"Yeah?" said Dot, grabbing onto a frog. "Ew...Forgot they can be extremely slimy sometimes."

"Umm...Maybe I'll wait until you wash your hands...and we get food."

"Okay..."

The two soon went to a nearby picnic area, Dot grilling some fruit as Dash checked his phone.

"So, what was it you wanted to say?" asked Dot. "When we were over by the logs?"

"You...don't think I'm favoring Britt, are you?" he asked.

"What?"

"Well...I...I'm just wondering if I seem like I'm being too hard on Bryte. I didn't want to yell at him but he just keeps acting up. It's making me even wonder if I'm being a good parent."

Dot laughed.

"Oh bro! You're worrying too much! Of course you're a good parent. You try different tactics and sometimes you need a stern voice when nothing else works. At least you're not the peach in Oasis Springs. You know the one. I'd be surprised if her kid turns out any bit decent."

The two continued their conversation as they ate.

"Thanks, sis. It's nice having someone aside from Caleb around to tell me if things are going okay, ya know? Not that I don't trust his judgement, but sometimes he tries sugarcoat things."

"Did you mean that as a pun?"

Dash laughed.

"Heh...Maybe. I mean he is rather sweet, although he usually says that about me...When he desperately needs plasma I mean!"

Dot giggled.

"I'm not saying anything, aside from you and Caleb being the best parents you can be, given the odds against you two."
