I still plan running a retail store specializing on manure ;) I hope it's possible and that flies won't become a problem.
Maybe if you have Eco Lifestyle, flies will swarm around the window-shoppers and kill them. - Monet112 years agoSeasoned Ace

Ok. I would buy the game at full price for that feature. ? - manicobsessive12 years agoSeasoned AceI am really excited for the new animals, and it looks like they have gone quite in depth with the horses, so that's awesome, but yeah, I'm one of those that thinks this should be a game pack. After all, as JustinB113 said, they are focusing on doing one thing well rather than lots of features, which is basically what a game pack is. Don't get me wrong, I am really happy with what it does include though.
- Daravi2 years agoSeasoned AceI found this trailer underwhelming tbh. It was nice from technical part, yes, but there were no new informations, you didn't even see the whole world with the playable lots, only the fake buildings. I just went from 'maybe I buy it later' to 'maybe I should skip this pack'. I see how much I play with cats or dogs, how much I play the cottage living animals, that's not much. I guess it would be waste of money to buy it. I would have considered to buy for the nectar making, because of the lovely memory of the original sims and the army of gnomes you could got from that thing. Although I have zero doubts, that they have not implemented that fun part.
- I’m with others that found the trailer underwhelming. It seems like it was hinting that there’s other stuff to do in this pack but what is it? Where is it? We already knew everything shown in the trailer. I understand that horses take a lot of resources but it feels underwhelming and not very expansive. Maybe the livestream will show more but right now this pack is in a very “maybe” category for me.
- greydonn2 years agoSeasoned AceI've heard the whole "horses take a ton of resources to make" thing a bunch on yt and such, and I get it, but...certainly not a whole expansion pack of resources, right? Maybe it's me being ~delusional~ but I hope there's some secret feature they're keeping hush hush to shock us. But if there's a secret huge feature, it'd probably warrant an update. ugh I just want it to turn out nice.
- Sara1010p2 years agoSeasoned AceWaiting for the live stream before deciding if I think it is worth the price, but I love the look of the horses and I think the goats and sheep are adorable.
- Babykittyjade2 years agoSeasoned AceI forgot to mention how much I liked the new dance!! ?? dancing is my passion and I welcome all and any new dances. The animations looked so well done! I feel like the team only gets better and better.

Yes the dancing looks like clogging.- Simmerville2 years agoLegendI think the pack comes with lots of new content, and I'm looking forward to playing it although I'm not that much of a horse person. Most of the comments on how little it contains and that it should be a GP seems a bit unfair to me. I just noticed that the old Get Famous pack was an EP. I think Horse Ranch already offers so much more in term of features. I love GF, and I use the fame system for many aspects outside the celebrity sphere, but if it was not for my ability to find extreme cross pack functionality, GF would mainly be about getting film gigs, and I would play it very rarely. With HR we also get sheep, goats and nectar making, all of those will get a lot of attention in my game, with sheep farms and goat business in other worlds, and naturally an upgrade of my numerous existing nectar yards. Also, my traveling club will head to Chestnut Ridge with their tour guide, and I plan a new "ranch high school" where teens will move in to tend to horses while also studying. I might also have a political situation in my game where a group of politicians will protest to the ongoing modernizing of CR involving taking from the national park for commerce (didn't I just spot my elderly Malcolm Landgraab leaving a meeting room with a fat grin on his face?). Malcolm's wife leads one of the Equestrian clubs, they might be up to something. And my aristocracy involving the royals will of course be into some snobby riding. I mean, try to see beyond the trailer - a pack is not just a pack - most simmers will see it as a tool that allows us to add lots of game play that EA never even thought of. It's us that hold the reins, EA just prepare the ground :)
