@HowGreatThouArt I wanted this couple to have farm horses rather than sleek racing horses. So I gave them a Clydesdale (Bay) and a Percheron (Grey). Both are gentle, but large draft horses.

One interesting fact I found was about hoof feathers often seen on Clydesdales and other breeds.

Those feathers may require a lot of grooming and maintenance, but they also protect the lower legs from mud and water – both of which are prevalent on Scottish farms! --Percheron Vs. Clydesdale
